The developer has over 50 PDF conversion programs - seems to me if they created one tool to include all those converters they would have a winning combination.

Which would be much more useful to the user instead of forcing them to purchase a seperate converter for each tool.

The DPI settings reset to default everytime I turn the program off. change this so that the setting is saved.

Enable the user to manually type in the DPI settings rather than have to scroll through as this is time consuming.

You coul also have a series of presets that could be chosen via a drop down menu.

Include more image formats. The developer quotes a long list of formats, but in actuality only JPG, BMP, PNG and TIFF are supported.

This purportedly does word documents, but all it does is add an image to a word document. It would be great if you could actually convert to a 'real' word doc so that you could edit the document.

Install this program without having to install a separate 'Ghostscript' program. Shouldn't that be already written into the A-PDF program if it is needed for the PDF-to-image conversion?

Include a decrypter so that you can convert password protected PDF files - passwords are usually used to protect the actual content from being edited not copied to other non editable formats.

Though you could argue that using a tool like Photoshops would enable you to change words in the file, then convert back to PDF using other image to PDF converters. :)

Combine this with other PDF converters for example Image to PDF or Text to PDF

Selling single function software like this is ust a big rip off IMO. Why these developers can't create a suite of tools and sell them under one title is th way to go, especially in these money strapped times

on higher DPI settings (eg 300dpi) the program takes several minutes to convert - if it's possible, speed up the conversion process.

discontinue this software and develop something else. If I want to export a PDF page as an image, I can just PRTSC it.

Ensure the create desktop icon is checked during installation otherwse you wont get one - it is unchecked by default.

Add a review window so that PDF documents can be seen rather than just the file. If you are batch processing add a scroll button so thta you could scroll through the documents rather than just have the file showing

The A-PDF company has TONS of programs that they say are 'affordable' - every one comes with a little bit of function and costs above 25 dollars. That is just plain stupid and I don't see why anyone would buy their stuff - just get Adobe Acrobat!

Add vector format outputs.

Lots of programs around that save PDF images raster files, but very few that save to vector formats. Those that do don't work so well and/or are very expensive.
